Promoting computer applications and skills among students at Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences on the basis of routine to research

Abstract

This research aimed to promote computer applications and skills among students at Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, and evaluate the results of such skill promotion. The research methodology for this study includes task reviews to develop research questions based on routine to research (R2R), planning training to promote computer applications and skills for a target group of 100 people divided into two groups of 52 and 48, evaluating learning outcomes before and after skill development using a T-Test (One-Sample T-Test) and gauging satisfaction with activity using averages divided into 5 levels. The study's findings demonstrated. (1) The task evaluation identified the research issue and the research process through planning, skill development, pre- and post-learning assessments, and process monitoring. (2) A skill evaluation of Group 1 (File Management, MS Word, Circular Notice, and MS PowerPoint), Group 2 (MS Excel), the combined two groups revealed that all groups had improved scores following skill promotion. The pre-and post-correlation correlations were 0.72, 0.83, and 0.77, respectively. The t-value analysis revealed that skill promotion led to participants' higher skills at a statistical significance of .05. (3) Members of all groupings, the degree of overall satisfaction was high, and there was also a high level of satisfaction with each issue. Here, the findings of the study demonstrate that skill development significantly affects skill acquisition. The development of routine research yields ideas and information to raise the standard and effectiveness of work further.
