การศึกษาความเป็นไปได้ในการจัดตั้งมหาวิทยาลัยกีฬาในประเทศไทย

Abstract

การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความเป็นไปได้ในการจัดตั้งมหาวิทยาลัยกีฬาในประเทศไทย ผู้ให้ข้อมูล ประกอบด้วย ผู้บริหารระดับสูงของกระทรวงการท่องเที่ยวและกีฬา กระทรวงศึกษาธิการ การกีฬาแห่งประเทศไทย กรม พลศึกษา คณะกรรมการโอลิมปิก สมาคมกีฬาต่าง ๆ และสมาคมกีฬาคนพิการ และผู้บริหารทางด้านการกีฬาจาก สถาบันอุดมศึกษา 4 กลุ่มได้แก่ กลุ่มมหาวิทยาลัยของรัฐ กลุ่มมหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏ กลุ่มมหาวิทยาลัยเอกชน และกลุ่ม สถาบันการพลศึกษาและกีฬา จํานวน 21 คน และคณาจารย์ทางด้านการกีฬา จากสถาบันอุดมศึกษาของรัฐและเอกชนที่มี การจัดหลักสูตรการเรียนการสอนทางด้านกีฬาในประเทศไทยทั่วประเทศ จํานวน 238 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บ รวบรวมข้อมูล เป็นแบบสัมภาษณ์แบบมีโครงสร้างเกี่ยวกับสภาพปัจจุบัน ทิศทางและแนวโน้มของสถาบันอุดมศึกษาที่จัด การศึกษาทางด้านกีฬาในประเทศไทย และแบบสอบถามเพื่อศึกษาความเป็นไปได้ด้านต่าง ๆ ของการจัดตั้งมหาวิทยาลัย กีฬาในประเทศไทย ข้อมูลจากการสัมภาษณ์ผู้บริหารระดับสูง ใช้วิธีการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา (Content Analysis) ส่วนข้อมูล จากแบบสอบถามเพื่อศึกษาความเป็นไปได้ในการจัดตั้งมหาวิทยาลัยกีฬาในประเทศไทย ใช้การวิเคราะห์ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และค่า ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน

ผลการวิจัยชี้ให้เห็นว่า มีความเป็นไปได้สูงในการจัดตั้งมหาวิทยาลัยกีฬาแห่งประเทศไทยที่เป็นมหาวิทยาลัย ของรัฐ สังกัดสํานักงานคณะกรรมการการอุดมศึกษา (สกอ.) หรือกระทรวงการท่องเที่ยวและกีฬา โดยมีที่ตั้งของ มหาวิทยาลัยอยู่นอกเมือง มีอาคารสถานที่และภูมิสถาปัตย์ตามแบบมหาวิทยาลัยกีฬา มีเป้าหมายเป็นมหาวิทยาลัยเฉพาะ ทางที่รองรับในด้านวิชาการ การผลิตนักกีฬาและบุคลากรทางการกีฬาให้มีคุณภาพทัดเทียมนานาอารยะประเทศ เป็น หนทางที่ทําให้การกีฬาของประเทศไทยสามารถสู่ความเป็นเลิศได้ในระดับนานาชาติ ประสบผลสําเร็จในการแข่งขันใน ระดับโลกหรือโอลิมปิก สนองตอบความต้องการของตลาดแรงงานโดยเฉพาะด้านการกีฬา สุขภาพ รวมทั้งการฟื้นฟูสมรรถภาพ

A Feasibility Study of Establishing a Sports University in Thailand

This research aimed to study the feasibility of establishing a sports university in Thailand. The sample comprised 21 people knowledgeable about current conditions and trends in Physical Education and Sports. Those were the chief executives of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, the Ministry of Education, the Sports Authority of Thailand, the Olympic Committee of Thailand, the Sports Association and Sports Association for the Disabled, and the athletics Administrator from four universities. The latter included state universities, private universities and the Institute of Physical Education and Sports. There were also 238 faculty members in the field and Sports from state universities and private universities. Data collection involved the use of structured interviews on the current conditions, the direction and trends in higher education within the field of sports, and a feasibility study questionnaire. Data analysis comprised content analysis of the interviews and analysis of the questionnaire data by means of percentages, means, and standard deviation.

The results showed that the establishment of a sport university, under the Office of Higher Education Commission (HEC) or the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, is very well possible. The university should be located just outside the city. A building and landscape architecture as a sport university. The goal is to be a special university in the academic support, producing athletes, professional sports, and professional personnel for quality par with other civilized country. Road to in which the sport of excellence can be achieved internationally competitive in the World or the Olympic level. Relate to the labor market, particularly in sports, health and rehabilitation.
