Abstract

This study explores the relationship among work-family conflict pressure, role pressure and optimism on work performance and other aspects of teacher performance in higher vocational colleges in China by reviewing the related literatures. It is found that optimism has a significant relationship with work-family conflict pressure and work performance. The researchers obtained relevant data by distributing 500 questionnaires to higher vocational colleges in Heilongjiang Province, China, and analysed the questionnaire samples of 25 editions. The results shown that the work-family conflict pressure of higher vocational teachers has a negative impact on teacher performance. It was also found that optimism played a significant role in regulating different dimensions of work-family conflict pressure and work performance.
