Remanufacturing ในอุตสาหกรรมไทย
Abstract
Remanufacturing has long existed in Thailand, and is starting to transition from an informal to a formal activity. The demand for products drives remanufacturing. The nature of remanufacturing varies across industries, as it continues to expand. Current laws and regulations are ambiguous about remanufacturing, subject to policy discretion. This paper suggests that remanufacturing should be regarded under an environmental framework, rather than an international trade. Today, remanufacturing has become a business norm for multinational enterprises. Policy stances toward remanufacturing must consider the opportunity cost of the popular wait-and-see strategy in terms of first-mover advantage.
