Openwork art reflects the relationship between people

Abstract

The creative research titled “Openwork Art Reflects the Relationship Between People” aims to study patterns, techniques, and processes in creation of openwork in order to build a body of knowledge for creating openwork artworks reflecting the relationship between people. Information from books, and electronic media were studied and collected. Related research and creative work were collected and analyzed as a body of knowledge to be used in the creation of openwork artworks including four sets of experimental works. In addition, the field was conducted by using interview forms. The population consisted of one skilled teacher, three workers, and three openwork artworks.   The research results showed that regarding the study of patterns, techniques, and processes in creation of openwork, techniques used for grand shadow play such as hammering, carving, and cutting were employed. In terms of building a body of knowledge for creating openwork art reflecting the relationship between people, knowledge of interpersonal relationships, openwork, visual elements, artistic elements, and art theory were used. Finally it was found that while in order to create openwork art reflecting the relationship between people certain important aspect should be considered namely: the beauty of the relationship of materials, the interplay between the relational elements of the content, creative techniques used to convey the content of the story that reflects the relationship between people through expressing love, and ties on the basis of family in society.
