Moo Ban For Fun: The Creation of Youth Theatre for Presenting Information about Dental Caries and Promoting Positive Behaviors in the Care of Deciduous Tooth.

Abstract

The article discuss on the process of creativity and development of youth theatre that titled Moo Ban For Fun, which aimed to finding the way to create a theater for youth, was to present behavioral issues that cause caries and create positive attitudes about deciduous tooth care and oral health to an audience of 5-9 years old. The process of study are divided into 4 phases: 1. Collection and study of dental data for youth 2. Creation of drama and characters 3. Creation and development of performance 4. Presentation of performance. The results were found as follows: 1. The process created a drama, use dental data and facts about caries-causing behaviors in youth as a base for character formation and linear plot with the tooth character as main and streptococci as a battle character that makes the story easy to understand and clearly communicates ideas to young audiences. 2. Presenting the drama in a fantasy style through music and movements that can memorize stories and join the performance to the fullest. 3. Drama can raise awareness and create attitudes in dental care for the young audience as well.
