THE CREATION OF A DANCE REFLECTING TO THE QUALIFICATIONS OF AN IDEAL COMMITTEE FOR EVALUATION OF DANCES

Abstract

This research has an objective to study a pattern and locate the potential ideas from the creative to reflect the qualification of the ideal committee for evaluation of dances process by employing both qualitative research and creative research method. The result shows that qualifications of a committee have been collected, analyzed and categorized into   6 ethical aspects including 1) unbiased and honest intention 2) highest level of leadership 3) self-determination 4) equality 5) integrity and 6) fairness. The post-modern dance performance is later designed and created in to cover all 8 elements which were, the acting script there is 7 acts in this performance including 1) arguments to win 2) leader and supporter 3) pressured by power 4) blinded with prejudice 5) corruption (bribery) 6) injustice and 7) consequences from breaking an oath. The second element of this creative performance is the actor audition experienced specifically on both Thai dance and Western. The choreography is associated with post-modern dancing methodology. The next element is related to the stage props which is chosen from the daily life basis products such as office chairs, office desks, sport podiums and yoke. The musical and sound element is orchestrated by the “World Music” band where they combine the traditional music instruments with the improvised percussions from Thai, African and Latin. While the universal suit is selected for the costume with the asymmetrical, black and white designs as well as an applied Nora costume, performance area is black box theatre. The last element is the light which is used to emphasize the emotions. Besides the various elements, the research is taking 7 different grounds into consideration so as to produce this productive show which are the concept of the committee qualification for dancing evaluation, the reflection of the society through the dance, the communication with the audience, the imagination, diversity, the symbolic usage of the dancing performance and the theory of fine arts. This research is precisely gathered the various knowledge and blended with the experience of the author to develop this creative performance where this would benefit to the dancing circles and would establish a reference for future artistic dancing
