DEVELOPMENT OF NATURAL DYES FROM COCOA BEAN WITH THE CONCEPT OF FASHION SUSTAINABLE

Abstract

Development of natural dyes from cocoa beans with the sustainable fashion ideas It is part of the lifestyle product industry innovation project from Nan Province to International for creative tourism: Case Study of Ban Ket Tai Lue Woven Fabric Group, Pua District, Nan Province under the Creative Tourism Development Project. The project also aims to developing of natural dyeing textiles from the waste of cocoa bean with the sustainable fashion concept which is a fusion between the environment, society, and economy. Natural dyeing is related to the social dimension of the community because the plants that give the color are local and produced by people in the community related to natural resources and human resources through cultural capital textiles in terms of economy. Then, the textiles that created by using natural dyeing techniques can create jobs and incomes for people in the community from the processed into fashion and lifestyle products.
