Reinterpretation : Cultural Rice Scape

Abstract

This article has the objectives 1) To study the reinterpretation of the rice landscape that has been transformed by visual anthropology, conceptual photography, concepts, assembly and creating new meanings in reinterpretation. 2) To create conceptual photographic works that are contemporary through a visual anthropological view that shows the change of space, objects and rice field environment to create a new meaning of rice field landscape; with the study of documents visual anthropological observation Specific in-depth interviews recording changes in the environment objects for analysis synthesis to create reinterpretation in contemporary photography.

Conclusion 1 ) The study found rice cultural landscape has adapted itself to respond to capitalism, both knowingly and unknowingly to keep up with changes in the environment objects and people rethinking creating a shared experience, asking questions, requires a thought process that leads to an understanding of what is happening. Encourages exploration, gaze, interpretation and reinterpretation, leading to the creation of new meanings in the same perspective from each other to seek a common viewpoint. 2) Creativity found Photography is a moment capture tool relationship of objects and people that creates a dimension of perspective, helping to see the inconsistencies that are linked to reflect what is facing each other the posture and position of the photographer affects perspective, resistance, negotiation of meaning, resulting in differences in various aspects, combining interdisciplinary knowledge across disciplines.
