Music Composition : “Lie – Chom - Tung” for Violin and Viola

Abstract

This creative work aims to study and analyze the musical characteristics of the Bamboo mouth organ solo Lie – Chom – Tung of Mr.Sombat Simla and to compose the Music Composition : “Lie – Chom - Tung” for Violin and Viola. The creative work uses “Lie – Chom - Tung” as the main component in the creative process. The music composition has melody and harmonic in the G Minor scale. The time signature and The musical texture is homophonic. The tempo are varied. The piece can be divided into 6 sections as Introduction or Kroen, Soeng 1, Fugue, Na Khao, Soeng 2 and Endingor Toey La. In addition to the melodiousness, when playing this Isan aspect piece, it can also promote and publicize tourism in the northeastern region through this music composition.
