Abstract

This research studied basic information and product design under the leather product design and development project to add value and elevate leather products to the commercial market. OTOP Nawatwithi Tourism Community's objective is to develop the grassroots economy to generate income for the community of Bang Sao Thong Subdistrict, Bang Sao Thong District, Samut Prakan Province by improving the quality of life of the people in general, stimulating the economy and society within the community to be strong and design and develop leather products to increase value and elevate leather products to the commercial market. OTOP Nawatwithi Tourism Community to be outstanding and ready on the identity of OTOP Nawatwithi Tourism Community, Bang Sao Thong Subdistrict, Bang Sao Thong District, Samut Prakan Province and transfer knowledge technology to the community Study the theory of leather materials—waste leather left over in the factory and design principles for products and souvenirs. Conducted preliminary data collection research (Pilot Study) and found user needs. Select a specific sample group That causes a difference in the perception of the product form. That conveys the identity of the community. Analyze opinion data Product design and development To find the mean (Arithmetic Mean), standard deviation (Standard Deviation), one-way ANOVA (F-test), and multiple comparisons. Need products between different styles Data analysis revealed that When choosing products for souvenirs, the target group is primarily concerned with utility. And buy souvenirs made from leather, such as shoulder bags. Pattern patterns and colors in the products are popular with tourists and the community. Beauty issues: The form and shape of the leather product affect its use in different proportions. Therefore, it is seen that it is appropriate and beautiful when designed and produced as a souvenir product from leather, such as a shoulder bag, which will lead to the development of the grassroots economy and generate income for the community of Bang Sao Thong Subdistrict, Bang Sao Thong District, Samut Prakan Province in the future.
