The Public art to Reflect the Reality of Peace in Multicultural Life of The Three Southern Border Provinces in Context of New Media: Case Study, Muang District, Yala Province

This article is a constructive and qualitative research aiming to study and collect information on arts, culture, rituals and joint activities of people in Tha Sap Basin community (Mueang District, Yala Province). Aims to demonstrate a picture of peace of multicultural society of Yala and other provinces with the study of concepts and theories derived from local traditional activities.
The tools used in the research were the field observation, conducting an interview and questionnaire documents for those who are related to the research, including focus group brainstorming with stakeholders on the results of creative work in the study area. The study data is analyzed in the context of the social theory of multicultural coexistence related to community technology development under the Globalization.
To demonstrated impact of the media context, researcher managed public art with media from various forms of visual art. There are volunteer artists participating in the project from outside the community work together with local people. In order to be a tool to help communicate a true reflection of the peace of Yala Province in the uniqueness of the Tha Sap River Basin community to Thai society.
This creative event has been an example model of creative work that is suitable for the contemporary context for the study area community. Hopefully, the concept model can be applied to the other area based on each local situation.
