The solo performance of Ranad Thum in Toy Roob Sam Chan, following the style of Khru Pramual Attachep, exhibits a diverse range of musical characteristics. Performers can select from various interpretative approaches based on their skill level and individual style. These musical characteristics include refined and structured playing, enhanced melodic complexity, and less conventional variations that are rarely used in solo performances. Furthermore, variations are evident across different sections and repetitions of the piece, such as maintaining consistency in Section 2 for precision and fluidity, as well as employing diverse closing phrases that reflect the performer’s capabilities and the performance context. The application of these musical characteristics in Toy Roob Sam Chan enhances its melodic beauty, simplicity, and expressive intensity, ensuring a balanced and engaging performance. Solo performances on the Ranad Thum must also consider cultural appropriateness and the traditions of
