Likey Pa is a folk performing art prevalent in Southern Thailand. The Ruammit Bunterngsin Troupe is the oldest Likey Pa troupe in Krabi Province, established by Mr. Ruam Mitphakdi in 1954 and continuing to this day under the leadership of Mr. Truek Plodrit. The troupe plays a crucial role in preserving and transmitting the intellectual heritage of Likey Pa, maintaining traditional performance styles, dramatic scripts, musical compositions, and costumes, while also adapting to contemporary contexts. Furthermore, the Ruammit Bunterngsin Troupe emphasizes the creation of
learning spaces by establishing a Likey Pa learning center in the form of a folk museum and by transferring knowledge to students in educational institutions. This effort aims to disseminate the knowledge and skills of Likey Pa performance to both youth and interested individuals. As an intangible cultural heritage, Likey Pa is more than mere entertainment; it is an essential tool for promoting cultural capital. The Ruammit Bunterngsin Troupe plays a vital role in preserving and transmitting knowledge, creating value and adding economic worth, and enhancing the creative
economy.

This article analyzes the role of Likey Pa, Ruammit Bunterngsin Troupe, in promoting cultural capital through the perspective of intangible cultural heritage. This analysis demonstrates the creation of value and benefits in economic, social, and cultural dimensions for both the community and the nation.
