The Study Research and Development of Field Flooring by Using Natural Materials from Landscape Decoration as Components in the Field Flooring Production Process

The study on landscape decorative materials of field flooring that contain natural materials from natural waste materials from the landscape maintenance process as an ingredient. The purpose of this research is to study methods for using waste materials from landscape maintenance and to test the properties of the field flooring sheets by mixing cement, sand, aggregate (stone), scrap materials, water in ratios of 1:1:1:2, 1:2:2:2, 1:2:2:3, 1:0:2:3 to mix and form at each mixing ratio, in order to test the physical and mechanical properties. The size of the specimen in the test was 5x5x5 centimeters to compare with the industry standard for interlocking concrete blocks for general flooring (TIS. 827-2531), which must have a specified compressive strength value of not less than 40 kilograms per square centimeter and water absorption not more than 25 percent. From testing in this research found the properties of the field flooring tiles using the above mixture ratio, it was found that the ratio 1:1:1:2 has compressive strength of 50.72 kilograms per square centimeter and water absorption of 9.90 percent, is an appropriate ratio. It complies with and meets the general standards for interlocking concrete blocks for flooring (TIS 827-2531).
