The Research for Guidelines in Creation of Partywear Outfits for Femboy Group by Using Camp Aesthetic Concept

Abstract

Genderless fashion has presently been gaining popularity because it allows gender-nonconforming individuals, such as Femboy, to express themselves freely through fashion. Femboy is Zennials individuals whose biological sex is male, and prefers to present themselves in a feminine manner. The objectives of this research are to design and create partywear garments for the Femboy group using Camp Aesthetic. The research also analyzes Femboy’s partywear fashion utilizing quantitative data from conducting surveys and qualitative data, using the Paper Doll Data Set. The results reveal that (1) Femboy population selects the highest satisfaction for participating in social gathering occasions (X = 4.36), wearing form-fitting and glittery clothing (X = 4.12) and interesting in the creation menswear based on Camp Aesthetics (X = 4.02), (2) 78% of the Femboy group wears garments with overall length covering to the ankles, 47% prefers silhouettes of fitted tops and loose-fitting bottoms ,whereas 73% and 52% of the group favors darker tones of clothing and shiny material for frivolous occasions respectively.
