Abstract

Weaving the tapestry of life is akin to a family heirloom passed down from mother to daughter and the enduring relationships within a community. The essence of weaving the tapestry of life lies in having a pure heart and soul, drawing upon wisdom, processes, techniques, and traditional skills. These elements demonstrate perspectives and ideologies in creative endeavors aligned with reverence. This article focuses on presenting the core of weaving the beautiful tapestry of life through the artistic creations of contemporary female artists, both Thai and international. Case studies include Alexandra Kehayoglou, Rewadi Jaichum, Amanda Phingbodhipakkiya, and Kachama Kiratiphumtam Perez, contemporary female artists who create distinctive hand-woven textiles. Their works are cultural and belief-based creations woven into lifestyles rich in love, bonds, and pride. It's like creating an ambiance of the beauty narrative, reflecting the imprints of the soul through the art of weaving and embroidery. Additionally, it elucidates the significance of factors contributing to a beautiful life, akin to delicately threading a needle through fine fabric to embroider and weave the intricate identity of spiritual value, or another interpretation is the creation of methods that can sway or awaken consciousness to the value of goodness, beauty, and truth that should be nurtured to foster a balanced and enduring happiness in life.
