การเมืองท้องถิ่นและการเมืองระดับชาติ : พลวัตและปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อการเลือกสมาชิกสภาผู้แทนราษฎรจังหวัดขอนแก่น เขตการเลือกตั้งที่ 3

การศึกษาครั้งนี้นำเสนอการสำรวจความสัมพันธ์ซึ่งกันและกันระหว่างพลวัตทางการเมืองระดับชาติและระดับท้องถิ่นในประเทศไทย โดยเน้นไปที่เขตการเลือกตั้งที่ 3 ของจังหวัดขอนแก่นโดยเฉพาะ โดยเจาะลึกสภาพแวดล้อมทางการเมืองที่ซับซ้อนโดยรอบการเลือกตั้งครั้งสำคัญในวันที่ 14 พฤษภาคม 2566 โดยใช้แนวทางแบบผสมผสานเพื่อบูรณาการข้อมูลเชิงลึกทั้งเชิงปริมาณและเชิงคุณภาพจากกลุ่มตัวอย่างผู้มีสิทธิเลือกตั้ง 400 รายแบบแบ่งชั้น หัวใจสำคัญของการสืบสวนนี้คือการวิเคราะห์การถดถอยที่มีประสิทธิภาพซึ่งจะระบุผลกระทบของปัจจัยกำหนดต่างๆ ที่มีต่อผลลัพธ์การเลือกตั้งอย่างเข้มงวด การวิเคราะห์พบว่าการกำหนดลักษณะนโยบายมีอิทธิพลอย่างท่วมท้นต่อพฤติกรรมของผู้มีสิทธิเลือกตั้ง มากกว่าตัวแปรอื่นๆ เช่น การรณรงค์ทางการเมืองหรือการเข้าร่วมพรรค สิ่งนี้ชี้ให้เห็นถึงผู้มีสิทธิเลือกตั้งที่ชาญฉลาดซึ่งจัดลำดับความสำคัญของนโยบายที่สำคัญมากกว่าปัจจัยดั้งเดิม เช่น พลวัตของการหาเสียงหรือความภักดีของพรรค นอกจากนี้ ปัจจัยต่างๆ เช่น การมีส่วนร่วมของผู้มีสิทธิเลือกตั้งและกลยุทธ์การรณรงค์ แม้ว่าจะมีอิทธิพลน้อยกว่า แต่ก็ยังมีบทบาทสำคัญในการกำหนดรูปแบบการตัดสินใจเกี่ยวกับการเลือกตั้ง การศึกษาที่ครอบคลุมนี้ช่วยพัฒนาความเข้าใจของเราเกี่ยวกับการเมืองการเลือกตั้งของไทย โดยแสดงให้เห็นว่าการปฏิรูปประเทศและคุณลักษณะของท้องถิ่นมาบรรจบกันเพื่อมีอิทธิพลต่อการตัดสินใจของผู้มีสิทธิเลือกตั้งในภูมิทัศน์ประชาธิปไตยที่กำลังเปลี่ยนแปลงไปอย่างไร โดยท้าทายกระบวนทัศน์รัฐศาสตร์ที่มีอยู่และนำเสนอข้อมูลเชิงลึกที่สำคัญเกี่ยวกับประสิทธิภาพของกลยุทธ์การเลือกตั้งและการสุกงอมของกระบวนการประชาธิปไตยในประเทศไทย
