Model for Thai Cultural Tourism Management in Koh Yor Community

Abstract
The objectives of this article were 1) to study Thai cultural tourism management in Koh Yor community, 2) to study the opinion level of tourists in a model of Thai cultural tourism management in Koh Yor community, and 3) to create the model of Thai cultural tourism management in Koh Yor community. This research was a mixed method. The tools built on environmental analysis and management concepts used for data collection are examined by experts were 1) the questionnaire used to collect data from sampling tourists and was used to analyze for average and standard deviation, 2) the semi-structured interview was used to collect data from stakeholders and academician’s informants and were used to analyze by content analysis, and 3) the participatory action research was used to collect data from local peoples and were used to analyze by content analysis. The results were as follows: 1) Thai cultural tourism management in Koh Yor community found that location, natural resources, and historical stories were conducive to activities. There are limitations to the understanding of tourism management of the local people. and lack of stories to the new generation, 2) opinion level of tourists in the model of Thai cultural tourism management in Koh Yor community as a whole high level, and 3) model of Thai cultural tourism management in Koh Yor community should be a committee from the local people, which is tourist planning, determination of activities, providing income and allocating benefits, and evaluating which joins that government and private sectors.
