การเปลี่ยนแปลงทางสังคม และวัฒนธรรมผ่านประวัติ และประสบการณ์ชีวิต ที่หลากหลายของผู้นำชุมชน ในเขตชุมชนแออัด

Abstract

บทความนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาการเปลี่ยนแปลงทางสังคมและ วัฒนธรรม ผ่านประวัติและประสบการณ์ชีวิตที่หลากหลายของผู้นำในเขต ชุมชนแออัด และวิเคราะห์เชื่อมโยงกับการเปลี่ยนแปลงอันซับซ้อนทางสังคม และวัฒนธรรมในสังคมไทย โดยใช้ระเบียบวิธีวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพในการเก็บข้อมูล ทั้งจากการศึกษาเอกสาร และการศึกษาภาคสนาม ด้วยวิธีการสัมภาษณ์แบบ ไม่เป็นทางการ และการสังเกตแบบมีส่วนร่วม

ผลการศึกษาพบว่าประวัติและประสบการณ์ชีวิตผู้นำมีความหลากหลาย เต็มไปด้วยเรื่องราวที่โลดโผน ตื่นเต้น มีชีวิตชีวา และน่าพิศวง มีความเกี่ยวข้อง เชื่อมโยงกับผู้คนจำนวนมากในโครงสร้างและความสัมพันธ์ทางสังคมในบทบาท การเป็นผู้นำชุมชนแออัด ซึ่งในอดีตได้ชื่อว่าเป็นพื้นที่ส่วนเกินของเมอง แต่เมื่อ พิจารณาอย่างลึกซึ้งแล้วกลับเป็นโอกาสของคนทุกข์ให้สามารถยืนหยัด ตั้งตน ชีวิตใหม่ท่ามกลางความแปลกถิ่น แม้ว่าต้องเผชิญกับการไล่รื้อจากรัฐราชการ ที่ยึดถือฐานคติแบบรัฐรวมศูนย์ แต่โอกาสที่เปิดกว้างขึ้นจากการตื่นตัวในสังคม ไทยและสังคมโลกเกี่ยวกับการพัฒนาและการอนุรักษ์สิ่งแวดล้อม และการเข้า มาขององค์กรพัฒนาเอกชน ที่เป็นเสมือนอำนาจใหม่ของชุมชน ได้นำไปสู่การ เคลื่อนไหวเปลี่ยนแปลงตำแหน่งแห่งที่ โครงสร้างและความสัมพันธ์เชิงอำนาจ ระหว่างรัฐราชการ และชุมชน จากความสัมพันธ์แบบอุปถัมภ์ไปสู่ความสัมพันธ์ ที่ต่อรองมากขึ้น

ด้วยหน้าต่างแห่งโอกาส การพลิกฟื้นพลังชุมชนด้วยจินตนาการอัน หลากหลาย ในชุมชนจินตนาการ การไม่จำนนต่อการพิพากษาของโชคชะตา และ/ หรือโครงสร้างทำให้ทั้งผู้นำและชุมชนสามารถสร้างเครือข่ายทางสังคม แบบใหม่ๆ ก้าวสู่พรมแดนชุมชนสำนึกทที่มีศักยภาพรังสรรค์ เปลี่ยนแปลงตัวตน ชีวิต ครอบครัว เครือญาติ ชุมชน และสังคม ในฐานะผู้กระทำการที่ตื่นตัวและ มีทางเลือก

Socio-Cultural Change Through Diversity of Life History and Experience of Congested Community Leaders.

The article objectives were to study socio-cultural change through diversity of life history and experience of congested community leaders, and to analyze the relationship of the complex changes in Thai society and culture. The study applied the qualitative research method, started with documentary research and followed by field research. The field researches were conducted by informal interview, and participant observation.

The study indicates their life histories and diversified but with magnificent, energetic and astonished stories. Their stories involved with different kinds of people in social structure and social relation. In considering the leaders’ role of congested community where was recognized as a marginal spaces in the city. When deeply considered, congested community has provided an opportunity for underprivileged people to seek for their futures among the strangers in the big city, while they were facing the demolition of settlement by the authoritarian adhered to basic assumption of centralized government. However, recent development approach towards environmental awareness and a support from non-governmental organization has been empowered the community in the movement to change social position, power structure, and power relations among state, official service, and the community. The power relation has been shifted from a patron-client relation to a negotiated relation.

The community, with wider opportunity and more bargaining, the community has developed the sense of “imagined community”. No surrender to the destiny and/or power structure, both the community and the leader are encouraged to create new social network and starts a “conscious community”. The conscious community has high potential to change of identity, life, family, kinship, community and society as an agent active and has a choice of life.
