การวิเคราะห์ข้อผิดพลาดในงานเขียนของนิสิต ที่เรียนวิชา 0115102 ภาษาอังกฤษ II มหาวิทยาลัยทักษิณ ปีการศึกษา 2548

Abstract

        The purposes of this research were to sludy students' writing errors in 011s102 English II and conduct an analysis and point out enors in the examples.
         The subjects were ?o students registered lbr 0115102 English lI in the second semester of the academic year 2005.
          Thc research proccdure was
         1. the researcher gave examples of lwo short paragraphs to all students in the classes.
         2. the researcher gave the students two writing assignments entitled "Myself' and "My Weekend". The assignments were analysed using Gaye Wall's criteria Then the errors were
classified.
          The findings of the study are as lbllows :
          1. Total errors were 529.
          2. Spelling errors were the most liequently found enors' (19.09/, or a tolal o[ l0t errors)
          3. Noun usage was the second most frequently fbund error' (te.zs or a total of 86 errors)
          4. lncorrect word choice was the third most ftequent error' (tt.ss or a total of ?7 errors) Theresultofthestudyshowedthatmostofthestudentswerecarelessinspelling. Their teacher should remind them of such enors, so that the students would not make such  careless errors in the future. In addition, all the grammar rules are essential in writing skill, so the students should be aware of and use the grammar correctly.
