Abstract
The purposes of this research were: 1) to compare the creative thinking of kindergarteners before and after taught by the art activities accoroding to Williams' model; 2) to compare the creative rhinking of kindergarteners before and after taught by the art activities accoroding to conventional approach and 3) to compare the creative thinking of kindergarteners after taught by the art activities accoroding to Williams' model and taught by the art activities accoroding to conventional approach The sample consisted of ffty kinderganeners year one of Watboondharikkaram school, Tombon
Bo Phut, Amphoe Ko Samai, Suratthani Education Service Area Office 1, in second semester of
2008. The target group was divided into 2 groups; experimental and control group, Tbe research instruments uscd were: 1) the art activities accoroding to Williams' model plaos; 2) the art activities accoroding lo conventional approach plans and 3) Torrance test of creative thinking fgual liom A, The collected data werc analyzed into mean and standard deviatioo. The t-test was utilized for compaflson purPoses.
The findings were:
1. The creative thinking of kindergarteners after thcy had been taught by the art activities accoroding to Williams' model plans was significantly higher than before at the level .01
2. The creative thinking of kindergarteners after they had been taught by the art activities accoroding to conventional approach plans was significantly higher than before at the level .O1
3. The creative thinking of kindergarteners after they had been taught by th€ art activities accoroding to Williams' model plans was significantly higher than the one that had been taught by the art activities accoroding to conventional approach plans at the level .01
