บทบาทของอาสาสมัครสาธารณสุขประจำหมู่บ้าน ในสถานการณ์การแพร่ระบาดของโรคติดเชื้อโควิด-19

บทคัดย่อ
บทความวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ (1) ศึกษาบทบาทของอาสาสมัครสาธารณสุขประจำหมู่บ้านในสถานการณ์การแพร่ระบาดของโรคติดเชื้อโควิด-19 และ (2) ศึกษาแนวทางพัฒนาคุณสมบัติของอาสาสมัครสาธารณสุขประจำหมู่บ้านให้พร้อมรับมือกับโรคอุบัติใหม่ พื้นที่วิจัยคือ ตำบลพะตง อำเภอหาดใหญ่ จังหวัดสงขลา การเก็บข้อมูลใช้วิธีสังเกต สัมภาษณ์เจาะลึก สัมภาษณ์กลุ่ม และประชุมระดมความคิด ผู้ให้ข้อมูลหลักมีจำนวนรวม 60 คน ใช้วิธีคัดเลือกแบบเจาะจง การตรวจสอบข้อมูลใช้วิธีสามเส้า การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลใช้วิธีวิเคราะห์เนื้อหาแบบดั้งเดิม ผลการศึกษาพบว่า อาสาสมัครสาธารณสุขประจำหมู่บ้านมีบทบาทอย่างน้อย 6 ด้าน ในการดำเนินงานควบคุมโรคโดยอาศัยชุมชนเป็นฐาน ได้แก่ การสื่อสารความเสี่ยง การส่งเสริมสุขภาพตามบ้าน การตรวจคัดกรองโรค การควบคุมโรค การสอดส่องรักษาความปลอดภัยหมู่บ้านให้ปลอดจากโรค และจิตอาสาบรรเทาทุกข์ แนวทางพัฒนาคุณสมบัติของอาสาสมัครสาธารณสุขประจำหมู่บ้านให้พร้อมรับมือกับโรคอุบัติใหม่ควรเน้นสามด้าน ได้แก่ ความสามารถในการใช้เทคโนโลยีดิจิทัล ความรอบรู้เกี่ยวกับโรคและการส่งเสริมสุขภาพ และความสามารถในการสร้างความเปลี่ยนแปลงพฤติกรรมสุขภาพของชาวบ้าน การพัฒนาคุณสมบัติของอาสาสมัครสาธารณสุขประจำหมู่บ้านดังกล่าวจะช่วยยกระดับขีดความสามารถในการพึ่งพาตนเองของชุมชนท้องถิ่นในการรับมือกับการแพร่ระบาดของโรคติดเชื้อโควิด-19 และโรคอุบัติใหม่อื่นที่อาจเกิดขึ้นในอนาคต
