การศึกษาลักษณะความเชื่อและการแสดงออกของตัวละครต่อความเชื่อ ในบทเสภาเรื่องขุนช้างขุนแผน ฉบับหอสมุดพระวชิรญาณ

บทคัดย่อ
การวิจัยนี้ เป็นการวิจัยเอกสาร ศึกษาจากตัวบทเสภาเรื่องขุนช้างขุนแผน ฉบับหอสมุดพระวชิรญาณ มีวัตถุประสงค์ 1) เพื่อศึกษาลักษณะของความเชื่อที่ปรากฎในบทเสภาเรื่องขุนช้างขุนแผน 2) เพื่อศึกษาพฤติกรรมของตัวละครที่ปรากฎในบทเสภาเรื่องขุนช้างขุนแผนที่แสดงออกต่อความเชื่อ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ความเชื่อที่ปรากฏมี 3 ประเภท 1) ความเชื่อเกี่ยวกับศาสนา ได้แก่ บุญและกรรม สะเดาะเคราะห์ ชีวิตหลังความตาย การเวียนว่ายตายเกิด และคำสาบาน ซึ่งสะท้อนอิทธิพลพุทธศาสนาต่อการตัดสินใจ เช่น การเกิด การตาย 2) ความเชื่อไสยศาสตร์และสิ่งเหนือธรรมชาติ ได้แก่ ผีและวิญญาณ เวทมนตร์และคาถาอาคม การบนบาน เครื่องรางของขลัง สิ่งศักดิ์สิทธิ์และเทพยดา การทำนายดวงชะตา ว่านยา และการสักยันต์ ที่ตัวละครใช้เพื่อต้องการพลังเหนือธรรมชาติ เช่น การต่อสู้ 3) ความเชื่อเกี่ยวกับวิถีชีวิต ได้แก่ ลางบอกเหตุ ความฝัน ฤกษ์ยาม ขวัญ และสีมงคลประจำวัน ที่ใช้เพื่อการปรับตัวเข้ากับวิถีสังคม เช่น การสร้างขวัญกำลังใจ ตัวละครแสดงออกต่อความเชื่อที่เป็นรูปธรรมผ่านการกระทำ คำพูด และการตัดสินใจ ซึ่งความเชื่อเป็นปัจจัยกำหนดพฤติกรรม เช่น ขุนแผนใช้เวทมนตร์ในสนามรบ นางวันทองทำบุญเพื่อแก้เคราะห์กรรม และพบพฤติกรรมที่สะท้อนจิตใจที่เต็มไปด้วยศรัทธา ความกลัว และความหวังที่แฝงอยู่ภายใต้กรอบความเชื่อ
