As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Criteria for Submission of Academic Article

The Ph.D. in Social Sciences Journal publishes three issues annually (Issue 1: January–April, Issue 2: May–August, and Issue 3: September–December). Our mission is to promote and disseminate high-quality research and academic works in the field of Social Sciences.

Submission Requirements
Language: Manuscripts are accepted in either Thai or English.

Originality: Submissions must be original and must not have been previously published or be under consideration by any other journal or publication.

Peer Review: The journal employs a Double-Blind Review process. Each article is evaluated by three (3) independent experts in the relevant field.

Academic Standards
- Clear conceptual framework with accurate, comprehensive, and up-to-date academic content.

- Analytical and synthetic approach, drawing from diverse sources to offer beneficial knowledge or methodologies.

- Inclusion of new insights or a clear, objective academic perspective from the author.

- Use of reliable, contemporary, and extensive references.

- Systematic presentation using appropriate academic language.

Manuscript Preparation
Formatting: Use TH Sarabun New font on single-sided A4 paper. Set all margins to 1 inch (2.54 cm). Include page numbers in the top-right corner. The article should be approximately 12–15 pages in length.

Title: Must be provided in both Thai and English.

Author Information: Include Full Name, Affiliation/Organization, Address, and a valid Contact Email.

Content Structure:

Abstract: Both Thai and English versions are required (approx. 250 words each). The abstract must consist of two paragraphs:

Paragraph 1: Start with "This academic article aims to analyze..." followed by one primary objective and the theoretical framework used for analysis.

Paragraph 2: Start with "Findings are as follows:..." summarizing the key results concisely and accurately.

Keywords: 3–5 keywords.

Introduction: Background and significance of the topic.

Concepts and Theories: Theoretical framework guiding the data analysis.

Analysis Framework: Presentation of the framework used for analysis.

Results: Discussion of findings based on the analysis framework.

Conclusion: Summary and discussion, including the author’s own insights.

Recommendations: Academic and practical suggestions.

References (APA 7th Edition)
Ordering: Sort by Thai sources first (ก-ฮ), followed by English sources (A-Z).

Author Names:

Thai: Use First Name and Last Name.

English: Use Surname followed by initials (e.g., Smith, J.).

Year: Use B.E. for Thai and A.D. for English (in parentheses). Sort multiple works by the same author chronologically (oldest to newest).

Titles: Use italics for book/journal titles. For book chapters, use "In" followed by the editor/author and book title.

Publication Details: * Books: Include publisher/place of publication.

Journals: Include Article Title, Journal Name, Volume, Issue, and Page Range or Article ID.

Websites: Include Author, Title, and the "Retrieved from" URL.

Conceptual Framework
Outline all variables involved. Visual diagrams are encouraged for clarity.

Hypotheses (if any)
State predicted relationships between variables clearly. For quantitative research, list as H1, H2, etc.

Research Methodology
Detail the research type, procedure, population/sample, instrument development, quality assurance (validity/reliability), data collection, and statistical analysis.

Results
Present findings systematically and concisely.

Discussion
Discuss findings in relation to the objectives and hypotheses.

Recommendation
Provide both academic recommendations and suggestions for practical implementation.
