Monastery Management of 15th Clergy of Thailand

Abstract
This academic paper aims to analyze the problems and obstacles of the Sangha’s temple management, Part 15 and present guidelines for the Sangha’s temple management, Part 15 by studying documents and analyzing the essence and interpretation of the documents from the Sangha Act B.E. 2505 and its amendments (No. 2), B.E. 2535 and (No. 3), B.E. 2560, principles of temple and monk management in Buddhism, principles of government and non-profit organization management, related academic documents and the principles of Buddha Dharma, consisting of the 3 Sikkha, Brahmawihan 4, Sangkhahavut 4, Phawana 4, and Itthibath 4. And then the studies were synthesized for presenting the Sangha’s temple management.
The results of the analysis revealed that (1) problems and obstacles of temple management were finance and accounting, temple and religious properties, human resource development and administration, and (2) the principle for Sangha management of Temple in region 15 consists of the application of modern management emphasizing on modern government management principles combined with Buddhist management principle and focusing on leadership development to prepare for entering the position of abbot which is an important operational mechanism in temple management.
