Feasibility Study in Establishment of Research and Innovation Institute of Provincial Electricity Authority

Abstract

This research article aimed to (1) Study the readiness of a research and innovation management of the Provincial Electricity Authority. (2) Study the capability of research and innovation development of the Provincial Electricity Authority. (3) Explore the model, structure, operation of the establishment of a Research and Innovation Institute of Provincial Electricity Authority. This study was a qualitative research. Collecting data from in-depth interviews in the executive and related person’s level of the Provincial Electricity Authority consists of 11 people.

The results of the research were (1) the establishment of a research and innovation institute of the Provincial Electricity Authority is appropriate and feasible only in economics or is worth investing. (2) Establishment of the research and innovation institute of the Provincial Electricity Authority, it will support the creation of new innovations in various types. In the meantime, personnel of the Provincial Electricity Authority can be used as a learning resource and can be used for developing an organization's knowledge base including helping to support the creation of businesses.(3) Model, structure, operation of Research and Innovation Institute of the Provincial Electricity to conduct the establishment should be under the supervision and responsibility of the Provincial Electricity Authority.
