Readiness of Local Administration Organizations for the Prevention and Resolution of Corruption Problems of Bangkok Metropolitan Administration’s Vicinity

Abstract

The objectives of thesis research are as follows : (1) To study the readiness of local administration of organizations to prevent and resolve corruption problems of five provinces surrounding Bangkok Metropolitan Administration ; (2) To study and compare the readiness of the above provinces in terms of socioeconomic characteristics, include grade education and length of service ; (3) To study the relationship between two types of work undertaking of legal clarity and administrative policy and readiness in dimensions : organizations strategy , organization, structure, work system, personnel, skill and competence model of management and social joint value of society. The population of the study include administrators of local administration organizations to talling 220 officials. The instrumentation for data collecting is questionnaires, The statistics used are percentage, mean ( ) and standard deviation statistics for hypothesis testing are t-test, F-test and a pair comparison for testing the difference of mean via scheffe with a significance at 0.05 together with Pearson 's Correlation. It was found from the study that : (1) Overall mean ( ) of 3.68 and standard deviation of work system was at a high level with a 0.67. (2) Overall readiness was at a high level with a mean ( ) of 3.67 and standard deviation of 0.60. (3) In terms of relationship between socioeconomic characteristics and readiness it was found that education and length of service are related to readiness with a significance of 0.05. (4) Work types are related to readiness with a significance of 0.05. (5) Overall research findings reveal the readiness and the conditions these of which those who are interested can make use of these findings in there localities in the years to come.
