EFFECTIVENESS OF OPERATION: A CASE STUDY OF PUBLIC SERVICES OF SUBDISTRICT ADMINISTRATION ORGANIZATION IN PATTANI PROVINCE

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to study the level of opinions of personnel on the effectiveness of public service operations of the sub-district administrative organizations in Pattani Province and to study the opinions of personnel on operational factors affecting the sub-district administration organization in Pattani Province. The research employed the quantitative research with sample of 736 people then conducting a statistical analysis, and the qualitative research method by interviewing 16 people.

            The research found that

            The level of opinions of personnel on the effectiveness of the performance of public services of the sub-district administration organization in Pattani Province was at a high level in all aspects. When considering in descending order, the organizational structure, budget, engagement and acceptance, leadership, materials and equipment, motivation, team work, and the level of opinions of personnel regarding work factors affecting the sub-district administration organization in Pattani Province were at a high level in all aspects. When considering in descending order, namely the development of natural resources, the environment, the economy, the satisfaction of the people, disaster prevention and mitigation, community public health services, community utilities, and careers.

            The factors affecting the effectiveness of the performance of public services of the sub-district administrative organizations in Pattani Province were materials, equipment, tools, spaces, organizational structure, budget, teamwork and commitment, acceptance with the regression coefficient of .47 , .37 , .27 , .14 and .12 respectively, with prediction power up to .75, able to predict the effectiveness of public service operations of the Sub-district administration organization in Pattani Province by 75.6%.
