Management Capacity Enhancement by using Artificial Intelligence in the Office of Defence Public Sector Development

Abstract

The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in public administration can enable the organization to enhance efficiency and productivity, provide quick and convenient solutions, and replace tasks performed by humans. This allows the organization to save unnecessary manual processes, time and costs. Using content analysis, this academic paper aims to examine elements of management capacity enhancement in the Office of Defence Public Sector Development in order to improve the use of AI in the organization. The results showed that the elements of the management capacity enhancement by using AI in the Office of Defence Public Sector Development include:
1) Digital ecosystem 2) Attitudes and motivations 3) Leadership and competencies, and 4) Values
