An Important Update for Vol. 31, Issue 3
Posted on 2025-03-04
Recently, an anonymous allegation of duplication was made regarding an article published in our last issue (Vol. 31, Issue 3), where said article was found published in another journal with exceedingly high degrees of similarity. We treat such cases with severity and thus, an investigation was launched immediately. Upon our findings, the allegation was proven true and the article has now been officially retracted.
The article in question is titled, "Generative AI and Essay Writing: Impacts of Automated Feedback on Revision Performance and Engagement", and readers are advised to cite it at their own risk. To prevent such incidents from recurring in the future, authors are reminded to refrain from submitting the same manuscript to multiple journals and to submit a withdrawal notice should they wish to submit to a different journal. Failure to do so will result in a direct breach of the ethical standards all authors are expected to uphold, as we all do. Thank you for your attention.
