The objectives of this study were to (1) evaluate the needs for development of desired characteristic in both current and expected conditions of graduate students studying in Master of Fine Arts Program, Division of Visual Arts Education, Faculty of Painting, Sculpture and Graphic Arts and Faculty of Education, Silpakorn University, (2) study the Priority Needs Index for development of desired characteristic of graduate students studying in Master of Fine Arts Program (3) evaluate the needs for development of desired particular characteristic in both current and expected conditions of graduate students studying in Master of Fine Arts Program, Division of Visual Arts Education, Faculty of Painting, Sculpture and Graphic Arts and Faculty of Education, Silpakorn University (4) study the Priority Needs Index for development of desired particular characteristic of graduate students studying in Master of Fine Arts Program.
The results found that (1) the assessment of needs for development of desired characteristic of graduate students studying in Master of Fine Arts Program, in the current condition was rated at a high level (= 3.80, S.D. = .73) and the expected condition was rated at the highest level (= 4.62, S.D. =.49), (2) the Priority Needs Index for development of desired characteristic of graduate students studying in Master of Fine Arts Program was .23 which the numerical analysis, communication, and information technology skills had the highest priority need (.35). (3) the assessment of needs for development of desired particular characteristic of graduate students studying in Master of Fine Arts Program, in the current condition was ranked at a high level (= 3.84, S.D. = .70) and the expected condition was ranked at the highest level (= 4.80, S.D. =.41), (4) the Priority Needs Index for development of desired particular characteristic of graduate students studying in Master of Fine Arts Program was .25 which the numerical analysis, communication, and information technology skills had the highest priority need (.40).
