THE DEVELOPMENT MODEL OF ENGLISH COMMUNICATIVE SKILLS OF PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHERS IN CHACHAENGSAO PROVINCE FOR ASEAN COMMUNITY

Abstract

English communicative skills of primary school teachers in Chachengsao province for ASEAN community, 2) evaluate assess of English communicative skills, 3) develop the model of English communicative skills. and 4) study the effect of using the development model of communicative skills. The samples in skill evaluation step were 169 persons. The samples in development step were 30 persons who could not pass the criteria. The using of developmental model, the sample size was 210 students in Prathomsuksa 6. The research tool was questionnaire with a five Likert rating scale. The data were analyzed by using by frequency, mean, standard deviation, and t-test. The research found that: 1) The development model of English communicative skills
of primary school teachers which was used to improve listening and speaking skills of English communication of English teachers who did not graduate in English major . 2) The results of comparison of before and after development with teachers. The overall and individual aspects were statistically significant at the .05 level. 3) The development model were used to improve listening and speaking skills suitable for Prathomsuksa 6. 4) The results of comparison of English communicative skills, before and after used the development model, the statistical significance at .05 level was consistent with the hypothesis.
