Abstract
THE STUDY OF LEARNING ACHIEVEMENT AND LEARNERS’ KEY COMPETENCIES OF MATTAYOM SUKSA 3 STUDENTS THROUGH INTEGRATING ICT WITH PROJECT - BASEDLEARNING AT SUKSASONGKRO CHIANG MAI SCHOOL
The purposes of the research were to study the learning achievement and learners’ key competencies through integrating ICT with Project-based learning of Mattayom Suksa 3 students who studied “Fun Science” subject. The population was 12 Mattayom Suksa 3 students who studied “Fun Science” subject in semester 2 of the academic year 2010. The research instruments were 1) a form for evaluating students’ products 2) a form for evaluating students’ attributes 3) a test 4 teacher and students’ journals. The data obtained were analyzed by percentage, mean, standard division and descriptive analysis. The findings were the mean of learning achievement evaluated from students’ products was 51.33, the standard division was 1.87 and the percentage was 81.21. Mean of learners’ desirable characteristics: avidity for learning and dedication and commitment to work, was 30.42, the standard division was 1.68 and the percentage was 95.05. The mean of learning achievement evaluated from the test was 74.50, the standard division was 7.1 and the percentage was 78.42. The findings from analyzing the students’ journal, teacher’s journal and student’s products were five key competencies: communication capacity, thinking capacity, problem–solving capacity, capacity for applying life skills and capacity for technological application were developed. The ability to work and be together in the society to solve problems or other difficulties was developed least
