CAKKAVALADIPANI: BUDDHIST DHAMMA FOR SOCIALIZATION

Abstract

This academic article is about the analysis of Buddhist principles in the Cakkavaladipani scripture, how it can be socialized. From the research, it was found that the scripture Cakkavaladipani scripture had a principle that was used as a guideline for people’s life in society which can be summarized in 3 ways: giving, preserving precepts, meditation praying in accordance with merit making. In this universe, the human beings can choose whether to live in heaven or hell. This scripture helps to open the perspective for all animals to design their own lives. Do evil then fall to hell, do good then move to heaven, and be pure then reach nirvana. Once men live by making merit intentionally, the true happiness will remain. When people command good behavior, the discourse of Dharma push the society better as well.
