AN ANALYSIS OF THE IMPACT STRENGTH WEAKNESS OF THE BUDDHIST TOURISM AND CULTURE OF THAI-LAOS

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to study the analysis of the impact of the Buddhist tourism and culture of Thai-Laos and this research was the qualitative research by studying from the documents, in-depth interview and focus group. The results of the research were found that the strength is to have the sources of the Buddhist tourism and culture of Thai-Laos and to have identity and to respond for the tourists’ requirements. The state sector has the policy to sustain and force the tourist business to grow. The communication is convenient and there are various activities related to the tourism along with the belief and the faith of the local people and people can travel throughout the year. There have been the sufficient systems of technology and communication as the instruments for the sufficient communication and management systems promoting the tourism industry. While the weakness is that to maintain and to take care of the sources of tourism are not good. To take care of the safety and the cleanliness in the sources of tourism is not sufficient. To manage the time for tourism is not certain. The personnel’s capacity in the aspect of tourism is not good enough and they cannot communicate and publicize to make the tourists understand the data concerning the tourism in accordance with the reality. In brief, to study the analysis of the impact of the Buddhist tourism and culture of Thai-Laps has both the strength and the weakness.
