Asian Interdisciplinary and Sustainability Review Advances in Web of Science Evaluation Process
It is with immense pride and great pleasure that I share a significant milestone in the journey of the Asian Interdisciplinary and Sustainability Review (e-ISSN: 3027-6535).
After more than a year of dedicated effort, rigorous preparation, and continuous improvement in our editorial standards, AISR officially applied for evaluation by the Web of Science (WoS). Today, I am thrilled to announce that we have received highly encouraging news regarding our progress. As confirmed in the official Clarivate communication, our journal has successfully advanced to the next critical phase of the WoS selection process.
To provide context on our current standing within the Clarivate Web of Science Journal Evaluation Process:
- Passed - Step 1: Initial Triage: We successfully met the foundational 7 criteria.
- Passed - Step 2: Editorial Triage: We have now officially met the 9 criteria required at this stage, indicating that a full editorial evaluation is merited.
- Current Stage - Step 3: Editorial Evaluation: AISR has now entered this comprehensive evaluation stage, which will rigorously assess our journal against 8 Quality Criteria and 4 Impact Criteria to determine our inclusion in the Web of Science Core Collection.
As the President of the Association of Legal & Political Studies (ALPS) and the Editor-in-Chief of AISR, I want to express my deepest and most sincere gratitude to everyone who has walked this path with us. To our dedicated Editorial Board members and rigorous reviewers, your commitment to academic excellence forms the backbone of this journal. To our authors, thank you for trusting us with your valuable research. Furthermore, I extend a special thank you to our readers—most notably those who have actively cited AISR articles in their own work. Your engagement is the lifeblood that sustains and elevates our academic impact.
As we embark on this pivotal Editorial Evaluation stage, we look toward the future with great optimism. We earnestly hope to foster even broader and more robust support from the global academic community. We warmly invite emerging scholars and established researchers to join our mission—whether by serving as peer reviewers, contributing your outstanding manuscripts as authors, or by continuing to read, cite, debate, and build upon the research published in AISR.
Your continuous and active engagement is vital. Not only will it support our success in this current WoS evaluation phase, but it will also propel AISR closer to its ultimate goal: standing shoulder-to-shoulder with the world’s leading international journals in interdisciplinary and sustainability research.
Thank you for your unwavering support, trust, and dedication to the Asian Interdisciplinary and Sustainability Review.
Warmest regards,
Associate Professor Dr.Thanaporn SRIYAKUL
