The Cause Leading to Wisdom with Concentration Development

Abstract
Samadhi, which refers to a state of meditative consciousness, means the state of one-pointedness of mind or the state that the mind concomitant remains on one single thing or object for a longer period of time. One who develops concentration leading an insight in order to attain the wisdom is called Samatha-Yanika. When one who takes tranquility as his vehicle until the mind reaches the state of concomitant integration then levels up that quality of mind to Vipassana with the noting of Nama and Rupa at the present moment state of, his state of mind then becomes tranquil, at ease, and happy. The mind stays still without wandering or distracted, but suitable for the work. It is because the qualitative mind possesses its concentration in investigating various conditional Dhamma factors as nama and rupa in every present moment condition until it becomes the cause and effect to Pañña Ñana. It means the understanding of the real conditions of that Nama and Rupa with Tilakkhana which are impermanence, suffering, and changeable. The practitioners who are mindful in investigating the present moment of Nama and Rupa continuously will develop the mind respectively with the understanding of arising and existing conditions in every thought-moment.
