A Study of School Promotion of Buddhist Way of Life under the Office of Secondary Education Service Area 9

Abstract

This research’s purpose was to Study of School Promotion of Buddhist Way of Life under the Office of Secondary Education Service Area 9 in 5 areas 1) Management of Buddhist Way of Life School 2) Buddhist Way of Life to Learning 3) Activities for Development Recommendation 4) Personnel Development and Characteristics Personnel 5) Supporting Relationship between School Buddhist Way of Life and Community.

This research is based on the Survey Research. The employed research instruments were a rating scale questionnaire of 5 levels. The research sample consisted of 103 people. The sample size was determined based on Krejcie and Morgan’s Sample Size Table. An analysis has been completed by a statistic analyzing program. The data were analyzed by using frequency, percentage, standard deviation and analysis of School Promotion of Buddhist Way of Life under the Office of Secondary Education Service Area 9.

The results were found that School Promotion of Buddhist Way of Life under the Office of Secondary Education Service Area 9, according to teachers' opinions in overall was rated at a high level ( = 3.91), when considered in each aspects, it found out that there were all aspects rated at a high level. The Management of Buddhist Way of Life School at a high level of promotion  ( = 3.99), The  Buddhist Way of Life to Learning at a high level of promotion ( = 3.94), The Activities for Development Recommendation at a high level of promotion     ( = 4.13), The Personnel Development and Characteristics Personnel at a high level of promotion ( = 3.80), The Supporting Relationship between School Buddhist Way of Life and Community at a high level of promotion ( = 3.71).

This research shows that School Promotion of Buddhist Way of Life under the Office of  Secondary Education Service Area 9, can be a model for Promotion of Buddhist Way of Life schools in other areas
