INNOVATION OF TEACHING AND LEARNING OF PHRA PARIYAT DHARMA, SANAM LUANG PALI DEPARTMENT IN THE ONLINE SYSTEM OF WAT BOPHITPHIMUK WORAWIHAN SCHOOL BANGKOK

Abstract

The objectives of this research were: 1) to study the teaching and learning management of the Pali Department of the Wat Bophitphimuk Worawihan School, 2) to study the methods of teaching and learning through the online system of the Wat Bophitphimuk Worawihan School, and 3) to develop the instructional kit of Pali studies with online system of Wat Bophit Phimuk Worawihan School, Bangkok. It was mixed research of quantitative and qualitative types, the quantitative types using a questionnaire from 78 teachers and students. The data were analyzed by using basic statistics such as frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, qualitative research by interviews with executives and teachers consisted of 5 images. Data gained were analyzed by content analysis.

The results showed that:

1. A study of teaching and learning management of the Pali study of Wat Bophitphimukh Worawihan School, Bangkok is at a high level. When considering each aspect, it was found that it was at a high level in all 5 areas, namely teachers, teaching and learning management, measurement and evaluation teaching media and the course.


2. Methods of teaching and learning with the online system of Wat Bophitphimuk Woraviharn School, Bangkok. Teachers create and integrate knowledge, developing new knowledge, knowing, and understanding technology, conducted according to the principles of 7 Kalyanamita, the course was appropriate, having flexible teaching activities due to its situation. There are instructional books in accordance with the standards set by Bali Sanam Luang. Teaching and learning with online media, measurement and evaluation results match the goals.


3. Development of teaching packages for the Pali Department through online system of Wat Bophit Phimuk Worawihan School, Bangkok start with teachers who are prompted their knowledge and practice in online management with oral memorization teaching system by using the medium for easier access to understand, stimulating interest and understanding for learners clearly, the measurement and evaluation as specified criteria on accessible figure, providing the tools for improving the students’ qualities in each level of education in relevant to the aim of teaching and learning through the “IB Model”.
