GUIDELINES FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF EDUCATIONAL ADMINISTRATION IN THE NEW AGE OF LIFE, NEW WAYS OF ADMINISTRATORS SUNDAY BUDDHISM SCHOOL, PHRA NAKHON DISTRICT, BANGKOK

Abstract

The objectives of this research are 1) to study the condition of educational administration in the new normal, 2) to study the methods of development of educational administration in the new normal, 3) to propose guidelines for the development of educational administration in the new normal for administrator of Sunday Buddhist School, Phra Nakhon District, Bangkok. It was a mixed research method, quantitative work was conducted by questionnaire with sample group of 300 students/teachers at Sunday Buddhist School, Phra Nakhon District, Bangkok using the basic statistics, i.e. frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, while qualitative done by in-depth interviews of 5 heads of executives, teachers, all data were analyzed by content analysis.

The results showed that:

1. The condition of educational administration in the new normal of the administrators of Sunday Buddhist School, Phra Nakhon district, Bangkok. Overall, it was at a high level. Considering each aspect, it was at a high level in all 4 aspects, namely, the system of rules and regulations of administration, thinking ad justification, cooperation and relationships inside and outside of the organization and the working process.


2. Methods for the development of educational administration in the new normal of the administrators of Sunday Buddhist School, Phra Nakhon district, Bangkok, were opened mind for new way of thinking without clinging to old ideas, try to gain knowledge in various fields, follow the PDCA process, adjusting the work process and education management using a home school style, reviewing the rules and regulations for administration with 4 steps, creating a learning mechanism with community, developing a supportive relationship with community, community strength promotion, sustainable student development.


3. The guidelines for the development of educational administration in the new normal of the administrators of Sunday Buddhist School, Phra Nakhon district, Bangkok were; networking thinking, reasonable thought, speech and doing, seeking the knowledge sources both inside and outside of school, following the PDCA, using home school style, abolishing the backward organizational culture, creating a new organizational culture connecting experiences through four steps, encouraging students and teachers to understand their roles and duties, skill improvement, create a model of cooperation and participation in building a learning mechanism with the community, integration of cooperation with the influential roles of the school for the sustainable development of students.
