Abstract
This article aims to study “The Conservation of Palm Leaf Manuscripts at Wat Khongkharam, Photharam District, Ratchaburi Province” found that the ancient scriptures of Kongkaram temple provide the important value for Buddhism, community history, community’s culture, and community wisdom. Kongkararam temple has methods for preserving manuscripts, namely (1) method for inscription of manuscripts, (2) wrapping manuscripts, (3) labeling manuscript names, (4) using ropes to tie manuscripts, (5) a place and equipment for storing manuscripts, (6) repairing and maintaining manuscripts to long lasting, and (7) distribution of various knowledge involving the manuscripts to the public as the resource of learning, this is a guideline for the preservation of the Kongkaram temple scriptures.
