Effect of Six Thinking Hats Technique Learning to Enhance Learning Outcomes on The King’s Philosophy for Local Development

Abstract
This research aimed to 1) study students’ critical thinking ability using learning activities with the 6 Thinking Hat Technique 2) compare the student’s learning achievement before and after using learning activities with the 6 Thinking Hat Technique in enhancement of the learning outcome on The King’s Philosophy for Local Development Center and 3) study the students’ satisfaction towards learning activities with the 6 Thinking Hat Technique. The number of samples in this research were acquired 21 students by cluster random sampling and are bachelor degree students at Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University, enrolled in the second semester of academic year 2020. The research instruments consisted of 1) 4 lesson plans in 12 hours using learning activities with the 6 Thinking Hat Technique 2) the critical thinking ability test 15 items with reliability 0.70 3) the learning achievement test 10 items with reliability 0.70. The collected data were analyzed by mean, standard deviation, dependent t-test and content analysis.
The result were shown as follows:
1) the students have the critical thinking ability after using the learning activity higher than before at the statistical significant of .05.
2) the student gained learning achievement in process after learning significant higher than before learning at the level of .05.
3) the student’s overall satisfaction by using learning activities with the 6 Thinking Hat Technique was from satisfactory at the high level ( = 4.33, S.D. = 0.48).
