Abstract
The purpose of this research article is to study the language characteristics of paragraph writing by students in Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna, Tak. The researcher collected data on paragraph writing of students, 1st year students enrolled in the course GEBLC 201, Art of Using Thai Language. In the first semester of the academic year 2023, there were 33 people, including a total of 66 paragraphs. The results of the research found that 4 areas: format of paragraph writing, copying information from the internet, aspects of inappropriateness in the register official language, and aspects of using incorrect grammar.
