บทคัดย่อ
การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อพัฒนาตัวสถิติเลวีนแบบปรับใหม่ด้วยมัธยฐานในการทดสอบการเท่ากันของความแปรปรวนและเพื่อเปรียบเทียบประสิทธิภาพของสถิติเลวีนแบบปรับใหม่ด้วยมัธยฐานกับตัวสถิติบาร์ตเลตต์
เลวีน 4 รูปแบบ โอบรีน และบราวน์ฟอร์สิตีโดยพิจารณาจากความสามารถในการควบคุมความน่าจะเป็นของความคลาดเคลื่อนแบบที่ 1 และอำนาจการทดสอบ ภายใต้การจำลองสถานการณ์โดยใช้เทคนิคมอนติคาร์โล
ผลการวิจัยปรากฏว่าสถิติเลวีนแบบปรับใหม่โดยใช้มัธยฐานสำหรับทดสอบการเท่ากันของความแปรปรวนได้รับการพัฒนา สถิติตัวที่ผู้วิจัยพัฒนาขึ้นมีแนวโน้มที่สามารถควบคุมความน่าจะเป็นของความคลาดเคลื่อนแบบที่ 1 ได้หลากหลายสถานการณ์มากกว่าตัวสถิติบาร์ตเลตต์ และเลวีน นอกจากนั้นยังสามารถควบคุมความน่าจะเป็นของความคลาดเคลื่อนแบบที่ 1 ได้ใกล้เคียงกับตัวสถิติโอบรีน และบราวน์ฟอร์สิตี ตามเกณฑ์การพิจารณาความแกร่งของคอนโอเวอร์จากทั้งหมด 36สถานการณ์ เมื่อนำสถิติที่พัฒนาขึ้นใหม่ไปทดสอบกับข้อมูลที่มีลักษณะเบนออกจากการแจกแจงแบบปกติ พบว่าสถิติตัวนี้มีแนวโน้มที่จะมีอำนาจการทดสอบสูงกว่าตัวสถิติบาร์ตเลตต์ เลวีน โอบรีน และบราวน์ฟอร์สิตี
