Education Management Evaluation of Private Vocational Schools of Industrial Engineering Department, The Major of Body Work and Automotive Paint Under the Policy of Thailand 4.0. The Case Studies of North Fang Vocational College

Abstract

The study titled education management evaluation of private vocational schools of Industrial Engineering Department, the major of body work and automotive paint under the policy of Thailand 4.0. The case studies of North Fang Vocational College aimed to 1) Assess the administrative system and management of North Fang Vocational College, Fang District, Chiang Mai Province, the area of educational management in the category of industrial technicians in automotive mechanics department, the field of body and paint work in the category of industrial technician. 2) To make policy recommendations for the administration and management of private vocational collage in the category of industrial technicians in automotive mechanics department under the Thailand 4.0 policy in terms of accuracy, suitability possibilities and benefits by using mixed research methodology by document analysis and using questionnaires, teachers and collage owners of establishments accepting students for experience training and parent’s student.

The results of assessment in CIPP model consisted of the context evaluation, the input evaluation, the process evaluation and the product evaluation. The average is at a high level, when considering each aspect, it was found that the form of establishment, administration and management of private vocational collage in the category of industrial technicians in the department of automotive engineering, the field of body and paint work under the Thailand 4.0 policy was the most likely, followed by the suitability, conformity and usefulness of the management of private vocational collage in the category of industrial technicians in the field of automotive engineering in the field of body and paint work, there are 8 policy recommendations as follows: 1) Driving a curriculum development plan focusing on learners to acquire knowledge, skills and professional skills necessary for the 21st century 2) Developing an educational institution management system in line with changes based on innovation ecosystem and international standards; 3) Creating understanding and adjusting attitudes towards teaching and learning in the vocational education system; 4) Developing executives to use digital technology creatively  5) Developing a digital technology system for vocational education that follows students equally and 6) Make a participatory internal management reform plan. 7) Drive network and exchange information between college at provincial, regional and national vocational levels; and 8) To develop a process for monitoring and reporting on performance (Project-Based Management) to be a model college of private vocational management.
