Good Frames: The New Approach in Social Movement Studies

Abstract
This article aims to propose an approach in social movement. The current work employed documentary research using the academic textbooks, academic articles, and research papers.
The results were analyzed and then explained by a descriptive analysis method. It was proposed that Snow’s Frame theory and Gramsci’s common sense - good sense could be used together to study ideologies related to social movements. The authors introduced the extension of core framing tasks by framing “a good frame”. This paper did not only present the common-sense causing problems and grievances but also present a protocol for constructing a new ideology to create a good sense. Therefore, the ideological changes might be a sustainable impact on the society.
