Guidelines for Inheritance The local Wisdom of Bamboo Loom Weaving in Ban Thi District, Lamphun Province

Abstract

This research is a study of the methods for inheriting the wisdom of local handicrafts made from bamboo in Ban Thi district, Lamphun province. The objectives are 1) to study the condition of inheriting the wisdom of local handicrafts, bamboo basketry in Ban Thi district, Lamphun province 2) to study and develop Production processes and steps in basketry handicrafts in Ban Thi district, Lamphun province, to find efficiency. Functional aspects, beauty aspects, usability aspects

The research results were as follows: 1) Results of the study of the inheritance of local handicraft wisdom regarding bamboo basketry in Ban Thi district. Lamphun province found that wisdom and the experience of making bamboo basketry has been continuously passed on in this community. To preserve and pass on the culture, knowledge, and beliefs of the community to the next generation and 2) the results of the study and development of the production process and steps in basketry handicrafts of Ban Thi district, Lamphun province, to find efficiency. In terms of utility, beauty, and usability, it was found that studying and developing the production process and steps in basketry handicrafts of Ban Thi district. Lamphun province received the following results: 1) Efficiency in use the production process and steps in basketry handicrafts have been improved to increase the usability of the product. 2) Beauty. The development of the production process has helped to make the product more beautiful. 3) Usability. The products produced are more Versatile in use. 4) Value creation Developing the production process allows creating value. 5) Promoting local culture. The development of basketry handicrafts helps promote local culture and create a sustainable livelihood in the community, and 6) dissemination and expansion of the product market. The development of woven handicraft products has enabled us to expand the product market efficiently.
