The study on jewelry design based on the identity of the Chanthaboon Waterfront Community using the bead weaving technique aimed to: 1) investigate the identity of the Chanthaboon Waterfront Community; and design and select patterns that represent the community’s identity and are suitable for bead weaving. Employing a qualitative approach, data were collected through documentary research and interviews with three experts to identify and analyze to identify the community’s pattern identity. Ten patterns of jewelry were then designed to be appropriate for bead weaving, each comprising a bracelet and a brooch. The three experts evaluated and selected the five most appropriate designs for prototype production, with mean suitability scores of 4.04–4.58 (high to highest level). The results revealed that the tangible identity was reflected through architectural patterns that combine Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese, and Western cultures, including decorative patterns and color tones. Meanwhile, the intangible
identity reflected the cultural diversity of the multicultural society through its way of life. The findings demonstrated that the Chanthaboon Waterfront Community has distinctive tangible and intangible identities resulting from the harmonious integration of diverse cultures. This diversity is reflected in its unique architectural forms and decorative patterns derived from the ways of life, beliefs, and traditional arts of different ethnic groups.
