Abstract

The objective of this article was to explore the creative process and interpretation of the contemporary painting series "Her Image in the Shadow of War," which utilizes the human body (nude female figure) as an artistic symbol to convey social, political, and spiritual concepts. This series reflects the relationship between power, humanity, and creation through a visual language that combines beauty with social critique. Painting on the symbolic concept of literal and connotative meaning, and the aesthetics concept that defines art as an aesthetic experience in life, this series comprises three paintings that address issues of resistance to power, human fragility, the power of creation, and questioning the morality of war. The work utilizes acrylic on canvas and employs lines, colors, light, and elements that reflect tragic emotions. The results demonstrate that the human body can be a powerful platform for communicating social and spiritual meanings. This series of paintings not only aims to express beauty, but also employs a visual language that questions power, technology, and human values ​​in today's world.
